Craft Beer

White Street Brewing Co. is the first manufacturer to bring the robust flavor and variety of craft beer to Wake Forest. Our quality and commitment are equal to the big brewers, but with us you get small-town charm combined with an "everybody knows your name" atmosphere. Our historic downtown location is a gathering place for beer enthusiasts and novices alike. Come into our brewery and witness small-batch beer production at its best. Our on-site taproom has a seat waiting for you and a pint or growler ready to pour.

2. Seasonals

Your tastes may change with the seasons and so will at least one of our craft beers.

Black Falls is our spring seasonal Black IPA. Deeply opaque with ruby hues, this brew features rich chocolate flavors and aromas accompanied by a huge load of fresh fruity hops. Take it Home in a Growler

The same craft beer you enjoy in our tap room can be taken home in a 64-ounce White Street Brewing Co. growler. There's no better way to enjoy it straight from the factory.

In the days before bottled beer became common (mid-1800s), if you wanted a beer outside of a saloon, it most likely was draught beer filled and carried out in a growler--which back then looked like a bucket. Origins of the word growler is much disputed, but it's said that the constant conflict between bartenders who traditionally filled the two-quart pail with a pint of beer and the customer who wanted it filled to the top caused the "growling". Today's White Street Brewing Co. growlers are a half-gallon, brown glass bottle with a secure lid. Get one and extend the White Street Brewing Co. craft beer experience into your own kitchen, living room or backyard.
