Superbowl Kolsch Cheese Dip-05.jpg

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Classic Six Pack of White Street Kölsch

  • 2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1 large jalapeno, seeded and chopped

  • 4 strips bacon, cooked and chopped

  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • Chopped chives for serving

DIRECTIONS

Start by opening a bottle of White Street Kölsch and take a long sip. Pregaming your tastebuds is just as important as preparing for the game.

Preheat the oven to 425°F.

Add the cream cheese, half a bottle of Kölsch (the rest is for the chef, of course), cornstarch, mozzarella, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt and chili powder to a blender or food processor, blend until smooth.

Add the chopped bacon and jalapeno, pulse a few times to combine.

Add to an oven safe serving bowl. Toss the panko in melted butter. Spread the panko evenly over the top of the dip.

Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the panko has browned.

Go ahead a crack open a few more Kölsch for the friends that magically appeared in the kitchen when they smelled the dip in the oven.

Serve warm with chips or crackers and enjoy the game!

Cheers!!
